Student Affiliate Membership
Eligibility
Students in grades 1- age 26 may participate in Student Affiliate activities if they are studying with a teacher who is a member of the Texas Music Teachers Association and Music Teachers Nation Association.
Membership Dues
Membership dues are $8.00 if paid by September 15. After the September deadline the dues are $9.00
Activities
Membership in Students Affiliate is required for the following activities:
TMTA Theory Test
TMTA World of Music
TMTA State Ensemble*
TMTA Performance*
TMTA Original Composition*
Each of these activities will also have an addition fee. See the information for each individual activity.
*A passing grade on the TMTA Theory Test is also required.
Metroplex Music Teachers Recital
Student Affiliate members may perform on these recitals without any additional fee.
