When is the audition?
February (see calendar for specific date)
An audition will be held only if registration for teams is greater than the number who may actually participate. A team meeting may be held in place of an audition.
If I’m sick, is there a makeup?
Yes, that can be arranged. But you must let your teacher know that you missed the audition.
Where do I go?
Your teacher will have this information.
What do I bring?
Your music with all measures numbered and the Parent/Student contract signed by both you and your parent.
What do I wear?
Casual dress is fine.
How do I know if I’m ready for the audition?
Do you have the director’s requirements clearly in your head? Are you able to play well at the required tempo?
When do I find out if I made the team?
Your teacher will let you know the day after auditions or you may get to find out on audition day!
